Macarons by Jane

When I attended the bloggers lunch at Hill Country Pierogi I knew I was going to be treated to delectable Polish delights. What I didn’t know was that I’d get to sample one of my favorite French confections as well.

If you haven’t experienced macarons, you must immediately get on a plane and go to Paris right now. Too expensive? Oh, okay. Well you can get some pretty good ones in Austin, too.

She writes a food blog A Taste of Koko and started her own macaron business, Macarons by Jane. Not only do the macarons rock, but she delivers. And delivery of anything is hard to come by in Austin!

Look at how lovely they are.

My favorites were the Nutella and Formal Affair macarons. They were so light and airy. The perfect little sweet snack.

I might be sitting at a picnic table in the sweltering heat in Austin, Texas, but for one brief moment, as I bite into a macaron, I am back in Paris.
