H2O Series: Ayala’s Herbal Water

This edition in the water series is special because it includes sparkling water. Is there any greater pleasure than an ice cold bottle of infused fizzy water?

Ayala's Sparkling Water

Ayala’s Herbal Water comes in original (still) water and sparkling. The sparkling water is bottled in glass, which I love, and comes in 12 oz and 25.4 oz sizes. The four flavors are taken from the original line.

  • Lemongrass Mint Vanilla
  • Cinnamon Orange Peel
  • Ginger Lemon Peel
  • Lavender Mint

I was skeptical of the Cinnamon Orange Peel, but it was actually my favorite one. I genuinely loved them all. The blends were light and not at all overpowering. The citrus flavors were evident in the finish, while the herbal and spiced flavors could be tasted up front. I will definitely buy these!

The still varieties were just as delightful. They are bottled in 16 oz plastic bottles and are light enough that I drank a couple while I was working out. Again, I loved all four of the flavors listed above. It was easier to detect the subtle notes of the flavors in the still water than the sparkling. The Ginger Lemon Peel is the lightest flavor and a good introductory infused water if you haven’t tried one before.

There are two additional flavors that are available in the still water. They are Lemon Verbena Geranium and Cloves Cardamom Cinnamon. While not unpleasant, neither of these were my cup of tea. The Lemon Verbena Geranium was way too floral for my tastes. I think it would make for good ice cubes in a fancy cocktail. The Cloves Cardamom Cinnamon wasn’t for me simply because I do not like cloves.

Overall, I was really impressed with the exotic flavors and easy drinkability of Ayala’s Herbal Water. If you are one of those people that have to force yourself to drink water everyday, these might make it a little easier. I guzzled them down.
